Stanislav L. Shokhor, CFA, currently acts as an independent consultant, providing turnkey business solutions for complex projects in cross-border financing, decision and risk analysis, and asset valuation consulting.
Stanislav has over 20 years of experience in functional leadership roles within the large-scale oil and gas sector (LUKOIL Group companies). Of this tenure, he spent 8 years serving as Deputy General Director in the group's largest international operational unit. His primary specialization as a functional leader in corporate finance involved organizing and ensuring the quality of analytical workflows, supporting executive decision-making, implementing corporate risk management and internal control systems, as well as establishing planning frameworks, policies, and procedures, and leading complex negotiations with government authorities.
His key achievements include developing financial modeling systems and implementing risk-oriented approaches to investment decision-making, drafting advantageous terms for a multi-billion dollar EPC contract, establishing framework conditions for production sharing agreements (PSA), structuring project finance transactions (including Islamic finance tranches), and managing acquisition deals, including the acquisition of several Western public companies.
He previously held positions as a Non-Executive Director in joint ventures involving international partners within the energy sector as well as the e-commerce industry. He is a member of the Association of Independent Directors.
Mr. Shokhor holds a Bachelor's degree with honors and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Novosibirsk State University, and completed his postgraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University. He has authored a series of professional publications in both Russian and international sources focusing on the valuation of investment decisions under uncertainty. Stanislav is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
